Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After lunch, visit the Giraffe Centre for an interactive experience with the endangered Rothschild giraffe.
Enjoy a relaxed feeding session before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Nairobi to Nanyuki / Ol Pejeta
After breakfast, check out at 9:00 AM and drive to Nairobi National Park for a short game drive, with chances to see lions, rhinos, buffaloes, and more.
Later, visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to witness the 11:00 AM feeding of rescued baby elephants.
After lunch, proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and check in at Sweetwaters Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, head out for a mid-morning game drive. Visit the chimpanzee sanctuary for an educational session, then continue exploring the conservancy with a stop at a hippo pool.
Return for lunch, then in the evening visit the Morani Information Centre to meet and feed Baraka the black rhino.
Enjoy a short evening game drive before returning for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Samburu
After breakfast, depart at 9:00 AM for Samburu National Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing by the pool or enjoying views of the surrounding volcanic hills. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive. Samburu is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, and various antelope species, as well as big cats such as cheetahs and leopards.
Return for lunch, then head out again in the evening with a stop at Buffalo Springs National Reserve.
Look out for the “Samburu Special Five,” including the reticulated giraffe, oryx, Somali ostrich, and the long-necked gerenuk.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 6: Samburu Cultural Experience
After breakfast, depart at 9:00 AM for a game drive en route to a Samburu village.
Spend time with the local community, learning about their traditions, participating in dances, and experiencing their unique culture. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Day 7: Samburu to Nairobi
After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive back to Nairobi. Stop for lunch at the Trout Tree Restaurant before continuing your journey.
Arrive in the evening and transfer to the airport for your onward flight home.
