These private conservancies are well worth the visit, and Solio in particular offers an exceptional, up-close rhino experience. Here, it’s possible to see more than 100 rhinos in just one day, along with lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and sometimes even a leopard.
Ol Pejeta is equally renowned for its large herds of elephants, rhinos, and other herbivores. The conservancy also hosts a dedicated chimpanzee sanctuary. Over the years, the cat population has grown, offering frequent sightings of lions, cheetahs, and the occasional leopard.
